Home Search Topics Contact About | The Higher DimensionLook at the floor. It is flat. It is two-dimensional, length and width. We live in a three-dimensional environment. We live in a dimension that is above that of a floor and superior to it. Geometrically there is only one dimension added, height. But what a difference that one dimension makes! We live, breath, see, hear, move, think, occupy space and many other things. We look down on the lower dimension. We have a measure of control over the lower dimension. God*s kingdom is a much higher dimension than the one that we occupy. It is obvious that there are multiple dimensions in God*s kingdom that are not in our dimension. God*s kingdom can control everything in our present dimension. God*s kingdom will outlast our present dimension. Our dimension is beneath God*s kingdom to a far greater extent than the floor is below our dimension. Author unknown. John 18:36: Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.John 3:31: He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. We are to ask God to have His way on earth (in our present dimension) as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10: Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
We cannot see the higher dimension but we can sometimes see its impact and influence on our present dimension if we have been born again. John 3:8: The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. John 3:3: Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
The unregenerate (those who have not been born again) have a certain kind of blindness. They cannot go to the Kingdom of God. It means they cannot even see it. It means they cannot see and understand anything that is part of it. They cannot see its power. They cannot even see that it is good. Even though they might see and enjoy some of the good things given by God they do not and cannot recognize the source. Ephesians 1:3: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: Colossians 3:3: For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.Philippians 3:14: I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. |
